There is also a slipway on the lake for you to launch a small sailing dinghy, rowing boat or canoe. (No motor driven craft allowed on this lake). There are designated fishing pegs dotted around the lake for the keen coarse anglers.

Matthew Hoggard visits Watermark Cotswolds

International Cricketer Matthew Hoggard recently enjoyed a weekend with his family at the Watermark resort an exclusive award winning development of luxury lakeside holiday homes situated around beautiful lakes within the Cotswold Lakes.

Mathew challenged himself to the watersports @WMSKI and some of the more relaxing activities of the Cotswold Waterpark including fun on the inflatables at Spring Lake

Matthew Hoggard MBE is one of the most successful international cricketers to have played for England. He currently plays for and captains, Leicestershire County Cricket Club where, after leaving his home county of Yorkshire at the end of the 2009 season, he has had a successful period. He was a vital member of the inspirational England side that won the epic 2005 Ashes series and has been a model of consistency throughout his test and ODI career, representing his country on 93 occasions.

Matthew particularly enjoyed the water-sports available at the resort including Wakeboard and Waterski at the international water-ski course.at Spring Lake.

The family choose to stay at one of the lodges on Summer Lake, one of six lakes at the Watermark Cotswolds estate. Lodges at Watermark are available to purchase as holiday homes or to rent on a short term basis for family holidays.
