Windrush Lake benefits from 3 tennis courts, fishing and children's play area - only a short walk away. There is also a slipway on the lake for you to launch a small sailing dinghy, rowing boat or canoe. (No motor driven craft allowed on this lake). There are designated fishing pegs dotted around the lake for the keen coarse anglers.

Steve Cram visits Watermark

‘Steve Cram’s Cotswold Experience'

Steve Cram television presenter and athletics commentator has been spotted taking some time out in the Cotswolds prior to his busy Olympics schedule.

BBC sports commentator and Olympic medallist will be flat out during the Olympics so took time out of his busy schedule to squeeze in a richly deserved break in the relaxing award winning Watermark development.

Steve and his family visited the Watermark Cotswolds resort near Cirencester to sample the luxury holiday accommodation. The holiday homes are purpose built to buyers’ specifications, with a small number of selected lodges available for renting.

The family enjoyed the tranquillity of the countryside location but couldn’t resist the appeal of the resort facilities and packed in a full on weekend of waterskiing, wakeboarding and even a fly fishing session at the Watermark Fisheries private lake, followed by more than welcome Spa session.

Steve particularly enjoyed the beautiful views across the lakes and the great range of local facilities. Asked if he will be coming back to visit the Cotswolds soon he said “Absolutely, we’ll be regular visitors but only after the games are finished”.
